So Alert!

This video was taken when Eliza was only 5 days old. She has moments of complete alertness - mostly occuring between 2 and 4 in the morning - in which she is absolutely adorable. I love interacting with her. She stares off into space, but will move her mouth and lips in all sorts of adorable ways. This video shows her big, wide mouth movements. Generally she has her lips pursed, her bottom lip sucked in, or put in a tiny little "O" that we didn't quite capture...

BTW, we just learned that our digital camera will take short video clips. Sorry the quality is terrible and that you have to turn your head to watch it. It's the first video of many. From this short clip, (Bruce didn't know it was still on video mode) you can see that she didn't really enjoy the sponge bath. She's not a true Richards until she learns to love bath time. :)
