Daily Occurances

Getting rid of those ever present hiccups. She gets them after every feeding.

Content in the swing

Lately she will only sleep when I hold her. If I lay her down in her bassinet, she wakes up within 2 minutes and wants to nurse again. This is day and night. She wants to eat about 14 times a day - good thing that is going a bit better as well. It's a good thing I like her so much.

Loves to lay on our chests - notice that she is awake and dad is asleep - yeah that's what usually happens.

Adorable pictures. 14 feedings a day--you must be so tired!! I'm glad that nursing is going better. She is SO beautiful. We're really hoping to make it on Sunday to meet Eliza and see you guys!

She is adorable. I recognize the little outfit of her in the swing.

Sorry, you are probably sick of my comments!!

Hooray for improved nursing!!

I know how you feel about not being able to put your baby down when she needs a nap. D was like that BAD at the beginning. She's gotten so much better now. One trick that worked for us (and is totally kosher with my doctor) is to put her to sleep in the car seat. D sleeps really well in there for naps (NOT at nighttime though - I'm not okay with car seat during the night, she sleeps in her crib overnight). I hope she gets over it, I know that's hard. :(

What a sweet little girl! Congrats to both of you! We miss your family...

Huge congratulations on a beautiful baby girl! Kate was the baby who wanted to be held and nursed all the time. I just kept feeling grateful that she was my first and the only one who needed me at the time. (Although at times I had to remind myself to be so grateful. :)

I'm thrilled for you both to have such a darling little princess.

She's a heartbreaker, that's for sure!

And Bruce, I do believe there is nothing better about fatherhood than taking a nap with your little one snuggled up on your chest. Whether the little one sleeps or not along with you is a moot point... so long as they don't squirm too much.
