1 month old

Enjoying some tummy time

So much fun.

oops! Lost some of my lunch.

It's really hard to believe that Eliza is one month old already. It seems like just the other day we were bringing her home from the hospital. She really is a spunky girl with a personality that constantly keeps us guessing. Whenever she cries, we have to ask ourselves all four of these questions. 1) Is she hungry? 2) Is she sleepy? 3) Does she want to be held? 4) Does she want to swing?

We ask the fourth question, because Eliza's favorite past time is sitting/rocking in her swing. Sometimes she whimpers until we put her in it. As this picture illustrates, after being placed in the swing she immediately looks up to see the fish mobile spin around.

For some reason, it really fasinates her. She would watch it spin for hours if we would let her. At times, she falls asleep in it. This can't be comfortable.

Eliza can also do tricks:

She can stand on her head:

She can make the smallest little O with her lips. (This is my favorite thing that she does, and the pictures definitely don't do it justice.)

She can propel herself from place to place or from lap to couch.

She can roll from side to back.

She can coo, smile, and make her parents watch her for hours.
What a talented girl!

Adorable Brittney - isn't being a mom the best?

Her little legs look so long in that picture of her asleep in the swing.
