The best husband in the world

Honestly and truthfully, I have the best husband in the world. Yesterday, (the anniversary of our engagement six years ago) he brought me home a house plant. It's similar to the other impatient I adored but died due to spider mites.
Then, when I got home from tutoring later that night, I walked up to our house to find....
Purple petunia's. Those by the way are my favorite flower - I know kind of weird to have a potted flower be your favorite, but petunia's are awesome. Not only do they grow in nearly any kind of soil planted, but they are fighters. They can survive through the toughest odds, it's inspiring really. Even though they are not commonly found in a bouquet, Bruce actually went all out six years ago and made this petunia bouquet himself. He used the bouquet (viewed in the picture below) to propose to me. He cut the flowers and arranged them in this blue vase which has special meaning to him. This is the picture Bruce's roommate took of us six years ago shortly after Bruce proposed. His roommate didn't know we were engaged since we didn't tell anyone until the next day. You can see how shocked and surprised we still look.

Thank you, thank you, thank you Bruce - you truely are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I'm glad that I felt prompted to say, "yes" even if I didn't want it at the time. I love you! Happy six years!
