34 weeks

...and I can still beat Bruce in Tennis. (6 games to 4) I actually blocked his shot in the basketball game we played the other day. This is no easy feat for me when I am in shape. Of course, he blocked my shot easily, and still managed to score a lot of points, but I had to brag about my one moment of good defense.

I met a new doctor today, and I think I like her better than the other two. Maybe it has something to do with being female (or that I am getting closer to D-Day), but she actually asked me questions about the baby, it's movements, how I was feeling. She talked with me about some things I should consider in regards to pediatricians and other things. My other two male doctors merely came in, listened to the heart beat, asked if I had any questions, and sent me away lasting a whooping 5 minutes. I usually wait in the waiting room for longer than that.

The doctor said everything looks great. My weight is normal, blood pressure low, my protein and ketone level is normal, and I'm measuring in right on time. She also said that my "girl" has a boy hearbeat at 120 beats per minute. Then she joked about that being an old wives tale. She did say to be sure I have some gender neutral stuff on hand - baby boys shouldn't be dressed in pink. She said they usually tell the ultrasound technicians not to mention a gender unless they are at least 90-95% sure. 85% is no better than 50% in her opinion. I still think I am having a girl. I guess only time will tell. D-Day is 5 weeks and 5 days away.

I can't wait!!

Have to say, I'm impressed that you're still playing tennis.
