Leaves are falling all around

Well, actually they're not falling all around.  Hurricane Sandy pretty much whipped all the leaves off the trees in one night.  Now, they are in huge piles around the street.  But.. before the hurricane came through, Bruce and Eliza spent some time doing yard work.  First, they raked the leaves, and played in them. 

 



It was as if Bruce were a little kid again.  They walked and laughed in them. 

They made leaf angels

and threw them in the air. 

Then... they wrestled in them. 

After all the leaves were cleaned up, it was time to mow the lawn. Although she tends to slow the process down some, she sure likes to help her daddy with the yard work.  If I keep her inside, she watches longingly from the sliding door, banging on it to beg her daddy to let her help.
