Pennsylvania, here we come!!

It is official. After nearly a year of searching, Bruce was offered a job as an assitant Dairy Professor at Delaware Valley College, in Doylestown Pennslyvania. Dr. Richards accepted the 9 month tenure track which primarily focuses on hands on learning - no resarch involved. What more could Bruce ask for?

I sent in my letter of reisgnation yesterday, and will be done teaching and coaching on January 7, 2011. After Christmas, we plan to drive to Pennsylvania to look for a place to live and hopefully buy our first house. After that, Bruce will start teaching his glasses on January 18th, and I will take my time finding a job - if I find one at all. :):)

Before that, we have a lot of people to visit, a lot of boxes to pack, and a lot of loading up to do. Not to mention celebrate Christmas and show gratitude for our many blessings. We have enjoyed living these 4 and a half years in Illinois, and there are plenty of people we are going to miss. However, despite all the nerves about buying a home, working a real job (for Bruce), and moving even further east, we are really excited to start this new chapter in our lives.
