106 garden tomatoes

Ok... so we did get a handful of beans and 2 small zucchinni's, but other than that our garden wasn't very prosperous this year. Part of that I'm sure is the amount of effort that one actually puts into it. I thought I would have more time this summer than last. In fact, the exact opposite of that happened. I planted late because I was conducting the school play, and didn't weed as much as I should have because of my other summer festivities. The bottom line is I'm disappointed with myself for not putting more time into it to get more profit. I am happy that we got a lot of tomaotes, but sad that we didn't get much else.

The other bummer...I don't really know how to can, and don't have the kitchen space to learn or store the supplies. Our tomatoes came in at different times, so I probably wouldn't have been able to can much anyway. We ate a lot, we gave a lot away, and may or may not do one next year. :)
