50 Cents

Is all it costs to cross the border from Canada to the United States.

No wonder we have an illegal alien problem! :)

Perhaps this is where the money is coming from for all the government rebates!

Yes, you need a passport also. When we first went into the building to cross the bridge to the USA, there was a machine that you had to deposit 50 cents into. We walked across the bridge on the other side was U.S. customs. They hardly looked at our passports before they let us out of the building. When we went to Canada, we didn't have to pay anything, but they took much longer to go through our passports. We found it funny that the U.S. charged 50 cents per person to get back to the American side.
