Valentine's Day

For Valentine's Day I took Brittney on a nice romantic weekend to Bloomington. Well, actually we went to Bloomington for a junior high volleyball tournament, but we had dinner at a steakhouse called Logan's with just the two of us. We stayed at Quality Inn. We made reservations at the one with an indoor pool and hot tub, but we checked into the wrong one, and after we'd checked in, we realized there was no hot tub. They had sumptous looking desserts at Logan's that were only $2, so I ordered one. When it came out, it was a sample sized portion, they give bigger samples at Sam's Club for free!

We had lunch the next day at the Olive Garden and Brittney's team took 3rd place in the tournament. We got home in time to go to the Stake Green and Gold Ball. It was a lot of fun to dance the night away. Our picture is from the ball. We're laughing because our good friends, Denny and Anne Anderson were making faces at us. I'll post a picture of them too, for those of you who don't know them.

How sad about the hot tub and sample sized portions! Still, it sounds like a great Valentine's Day to remember. I'm glad you got a away! :) If you happen to end up in Lyon, France, you can take a really hot bath in our tub and we'll make you a great big cheesecake...

Hope your tournament went well. Looks like you guys are having lots of fun! Reading your blog makes me miss being your roommate so much! I hope one day we can catch up again!
