I voted!
Usually I am forcing myself to get out of bed by 6:50, sometimes as late as 7:00 so I can get ready and leave for school around 7:20. This morning however, I accomplished a mighty feat. I got out of bed at 5:50, hopped in the shower, dressed, and drove over to the polls to vote. I got there around 6:10, stood in line for about an hour and got back home at 7:15 - just in enough time to leave for school. Although I wasn't completely thrilled with the idea of losing sleep to fill in ovals, I felt like it was my civic duty to vote. I couldn't later because I had work, parent teacher conference, and basketball games to coach. I would not have been able to if I hadn't gotten up early to do so. My vote probably wouldn't have made a difference anyway, but at least I feel like I am a good citizen.

Brittany...
Way to rock the vote!
Oh, and about the tractor essay - I find it just a little serendipitous that your student wrote an essay about tractors about the same time you wrote the blog entry about combines... hmmm...
For the record, I love combines too. Amazing machines. And I like milk fat. And I think I like cows, so long as they aren't trying to run me over. And pudding is really good too. Mostly though, I like you and Bruce. Here's wishing the two of you the best from the other side of the world!
Hey guys, I just went private with my blog and would like you 2 to be invited readers. I just need your email address. You can email me at: jrichards8755@msn.com
Thanks. Hope all is well!
