As a little girl, I always wanted a red Radio Flyer to ride in or pull around. I don't think I ever told my parents I wanted one, probably so I wouldn't be disappointed if they didn't get me one. I've always thought they were cool. Recently I wanted a wagon to haul supplies and vegetables back and forth to my garden. I have a little walk to get to my plot and sometimes I can't carry everything I need. I don't go to garage sales very often if at all, but I have a lot of friends who garage sale. I asked them to keep their eyes open for a wagon - even a plastic one will do. The other day a friend Rachel emailed me about a wagon that costs $30.00 at a garage sale. Others have told me that they never pay the price listed - they always try to bargain. I thought I would try it out. I purposely put only $20.00 in my pocket thinking I could definitely buy a nice wagon for only 20 rather than 30. I went to the garage sale, and sure enough the $30.00 wagon was still there. I looked at some other things, got up my courage and approached the lady.
Brittney: "Will you let the wagon go for $20.00?"
Garage Sale Lady: "I don't know if I will let it go for that low. How about $25.00?"
Brittney: "I only brought $20.00"
Garage Sale Lady: "Oh! Alright! Do you need some help getting it to your car?"
Brittney: "No, I didn't park too far away. Thank you very much. Have a nice day." I handed her my $20 bill and pulled my wagon over to my car with a big grin on my face.
I put it in my back yard and jumped up and down yelling "Rejoice!" I am very excited! All I need now is a shed to keep it in so it doesn't get scuffed up. I hope to have it around for a long time! :)

Yay again! I hope it serves you well. Garage saling is addicting so beware. Also you might want to cover it up when not in use. I've heard the wood can rot when exposed to the elements. It's a beauty!
I have always thought the radio flyer stuff is so cute! Good find! Now you will just need to do your hair up in pigtails with pretty bows and pull your wagon down the street with a skip in your step and the nostalgia will be complete...
Okay, so you are right! The bottles on the heads takes the cake. But I also remember the time that USU played ISU in football and your dad came up and USU won. We then went and rolled down old main hill and I got super sick. :) I also remember how we would spend 3 or more hours on Saturday mornings in the Merrill Library studying. And one time you told me that I was pregnant when I mentioned that my stomach hurt.
